Windows NT: Setting up the Network Control Panel
Open the Windows NT "Control Panel". Double click on the "Network"
control panel to open it, then on the "Services" tab.

Click on "Remote Access Service" to select it, then click on the
"Properties" button. Note: If you do not have Administrative
Privileges then you will not be allowed to edit these properties.
Select the definition of your modem from the list. If your modem
is not listed, you'll need to add it.

Click on the "Network..." button to open the Network Configuration
window. Make sure that "TCP/IP" is the only selected "Dialout
Protocol". If any other protocols are checked, click on them to
uncheck them.

After this is done, click on the "OK" button to close the Network
Configuration window, then the "Continue" button to close the Remote
Access Setup window, then the "OK" button to close the Network control
panel.
