Acceptable Usage Policies: |
To
be a user of any Easynet Service you must comply with this Acceptable
Use Policy. This
Acceptable Use Policy is designed to ensure that your use of Easynet
Services do not break any laws or interfere with the right of other
Easynet customers. YOU
MUST NOT USE THE SERVICE TO OBTAIN UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO ANY COMPUTER,
SYSTEM OR NETWORK If you do not have current specific authorisation to do so, you must not:
Unlawfully
accessing or damaging data in a computer is not only a breach of this
Acceptable Use Policy – it is also a criminal offence punishable
by fine, imprisonment or both. YOU
MUST NOT USE ANY EASYNET SERVICES IN A SUCH A WAY THAT THEY INTERFERE
WITH THE RIGHTS OF OTHER USERS OR WHICH BREACHES INTERNET ETIQUETTE You
must not:
Our
customer email servers are designed for conventional emails. They are
not designed for the sending, relaying or distribution of bulk mail,
newsletters etc., or for receiving of large amounts of mail in response
to such mail outs. Sending such material via your email accounts with
Easynet, hence via our mail server is unacceptable. (Should you require
such services we can quote to provide and maintain dedicated mail
servers for your specific needs). If you engage in any of the above email practices then the email portion of your account with us will be permanently blocked and no longer available to you. There is no reduction in price for Easynet accounts without Email. However if as a result such an account is unsuitable for your needs you could close the account at the end of your next monthly billing period, and find an alternate ISP with acceptable usage policies that better suit your needs. You would be liable for any early termination bonds or fees associated with your account. YOU
MUST NOT USE THE SERVICE IN A WAY THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH THE TECHNICAL
OPERATION OF EASYNET SERVICES OR ANY OTHER COMPUTER, SYSTEM OR NETWORK You
must not attempt to interfere with the regular workings of Easynet’s
systems, networks or connections. You
must not use IRC bots, clonebots, or other autonomous programs that
automatically perform certain actions from time to time or 24hrs a day
via Easynet Services or Servers, whether on servers controlled by
Easynet or other parties. You
must not interfere with or reduce the ability of other people to use
Easynet’s systems or the Internet. Easynet
may override attempts by you to specify particular traffic routing
patterns. You
must not use the Service as a staging ground to disable or interfere
with other systems. YOU
MUST NOT INFRINGE THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS OR BREAK ANY LAWS BY USING ANY OF
EASYNET SERVICES You
must not copy any material without the owner’s permission and you must
not distribute or make available any obscene, abusive, defamatory or
pornographic material. DETECTING
AND DEALING WITH BREACHES Easynet
will co-operate with other Internet service providers, regulatory
bodies, law enforcement agencies, and other entities legally entitled to
do so, to control
unacceptable or potentially illegal behaviors. Where practical Easynet will implement technical
measures to prevent unacceptable usage or behavior. This may include,
but is not limited to, suspension or termination of customer’s use of
specific services and removal of any or all their data stored on
Easynet’s system or cued for transmission. (For example removal of
customer web pages and other data in the user’s home directory,
removal of FTP data, removal of the users incoming or outgoing email
before transmission, removal of any other data applicable to the user
whether placed on our system with or without our consent. Removal of
domains. Easynet
may give details of users who are suspected of breaking any laws in
connection with the Services to the police and to other law enforcement
agencies, state, federal and international. Easynet may take other
action it deems appropriate, including taking action against offenders
to recover the costs and expenses of identifying them. |
